Our story

G B Tyres (UK) Ltd was established in 2011 and began selling tyres at retail in 2013. That experience gave us a first-hand understanding of the challenges dealers and fitters face, from finding the right size to keeping vehicles moving when time is tight.

Today, we remain a family-run business based in the West Midlands. Our location connects us to the national motorway network and to the hauliers, plant hire companies, fitters and dealers we serve.

We moved into wholesale in 2018, building the range and stockholding to help dealers find the sizes, brands and price points their customers need.

Since 2018, we have invested in stock and warehousing. We now hold 220,000 tyres and 15,000 wheels across 6,000 product lines, with 91,000 m² of warehousing across England and distribution through three depots. Around 3,600 containers arrive each year to support that stockholding.

Truck remains at the heart of the business, with 90,000 truck tyres and 20,000 bus and coach tyres. Our range has grown alongside our customers, helping commercial fitters, agricultural dealers and plant hire companies source tyres for trucks, tractors, telehandlers, trailers and other working vehicles.

The range now runs to twelve sectors, from truck and passenger through agricultural, construction, earthmover, industrial, forestry and port to motorcycle, bicycle, motorsport and specialist. Behind it are thirty-three brands in six tiers, including two we own outright — Aerotyre, made in Thailand, and Challenger, made in India — both truck, bus and trailer ranges that we specify and warrant ourselves.

Support for the trade. Fitting and mobile service reach end users through our dealer network. Ghost shipments use your name and paperwork, helping you serve customers directly.

Practical product knowledge. Our Tyre Desk covers load index, speed symbol, IF and VF, star ratings and rolling circumference, with reference information available to all visitors.
